This 12-day trip will allow us to enjoy the most representative natural and cultural wonders of Peru. We will start our trip visiting the Tambopata National Reserve in Puerto Maldonado and then connect with the city of Cusco where we can visit the most representative places of the Incas and the wonder of the world, finally we will embark to Puno where we will be impressed by visiting the islands of the Uros.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: LIMA – CITY TOUR.

Upon arrival at the international airport of Lima, the reception is in charge of our staff for the pick up and transfer to your Hotel. In the afternoon, a visit to the city of Lima is scheduled (2:00 p.m. approx), also known as the "City of Kings" to discover the most important places in this city, the tour begins with a visit to the historic center : Plaza San Martín, Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, the Cathedral, the church of Santo Domingo. Visit the Convent and Church of San Francisco, knowing this place means knowing the largest monumental complex of Colonial Art in America. Later return to the hotel.

DAY 2: ARRIVAL – LIMA – PUERTO MALDONADO.

At the appropriate time we will be at the hotel to transport you to the airport so that you can board your flight to the city of Puerto Maldonado, upon arrival we will be waiting for you to transfer you to the corresponding registry office, then we will take a boat to our Monte Amazónico Lodge. where you can settle, After lunch we will visit what is the Island of Monkeys where we will find various species such as the well-known "capuchin" monkey and at night we will go in search of white alligators and finally we will return to the lodge for dinner.

DAY 3: PUERTO MALDONADO.

In the morning after breakfast we will walk 3 kilometers through the dense tropical jungle towards Lake Sandoval, one of the largest lakes in the Tambopata National Reserve. We will be able to see the giant otter and many alligators at night we will return to the Lodge to enjoy the gastronomy of the place.

DAY 4: PUERTO MALDONADO - CUSCO.

Very early in the morning we will start a walk through the Canopy Walk – Way, over 30 meters high, in the treetops, which will allow us to appreciate nature from as high as possible. From the platforms we will observe different species of birds, such as toucans, macaws, tanagers, etc. After this, we will return to the city of Puerto Maldonado so that you can board your flight to Cusco, where we will be waiting for you to go to your hotel so that you can settle down and rest.

DAY 5: CUSCO - CITY TOUR.

After lunch time (1:00 p.m. approx) we will be waiting to start with the city tour in which you will be able to see the tourist attractions in the city and surroundings in an unforgettable city tour, visiting the Qoricancha temple, The cathedral of Cusco, temple of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and Tambomachay. At night (4:00 p.m. approx) we will be back in Cusco for the night.

DAY 6: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – AGUAS CALIENTES.

This day you will begin to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, on the banks of the Vilcanota River (07:30 hrs approx). On the excursion they will visit the Inca citadel of Pisac and then they will go down to the town to visit the traditional market, there they will have the opportunity to discover the customs of the people and be able to haggle with the craft vendors; short break. Then they will continue towards the fortress of Ollantaytambo, which was built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by the peoples of the Jungle. They will take a walk through the streets of this town, which have still preserved the traces of the old military and religious center from the time of the Inca empire. After the visit, we will wait to board the train to travel to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.

DAY 7: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO.

Until the day finally arrives to discover the wonder of the world. This day, very early, you will leave the hotel to take the bus up to the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu. After the guided tour, you will have time to continue exploring this magical place. , on your way in option with cost you can climb the Huaynapicchu mountain (subject to availability) that offers you a panoramic view of the place or if you wish you can walk quietly through the citadel itself. Later they will return to the town to take the train from Aguas Calientes to the town of Poroy, and then go by private vehicle to Cusco.

DAY 8: CUSCO – PUNO.

Early in the morning (06:00 hrs approx) we will pick you up from your hotel to drive you to the bus station where you will board in the direction of Puno, during the trip of approximately 10 hours you will be able to enjoy various places of magical charm and of Ancestral History such as: The Sistine Chapel of America or Chapel of Andahuaylillas, The imposing Temple of the god Wiracocha, The Majestic Paso de la Raya (Road Limit between Cusco and Puno - View of the Snowy Chimboya) and the Mythical Lithic Museum of the Pukara Culture Arriving in the city of Puno (17:00 hrs approx) mobility will wait for us to transfer to the hotel.

DAY 9: PUNO - UROS - AMANTANI.

After breakfast, our trip begins with the transfer to the port on Lake Titicaca (06:00 hrs approx), to visit the floating islands of the Uros, an Aymara people who build their houses on rafts of totora (lake plant), the population lives from fishing, crafts, hunting and collecting eggs. Continuing we will arrive at the island of Amantani where we will have a short walk that offers spectacular views of the Cordillera Real in Bolivia and the magnificent sunset over the lake. Overnight place in a rural house.

DAY 10: AMANTANI –TAQUILE – PUNO.

This day we will enjoy the local breakfast and then continue to the Island of Amantani covered with crops on terraces used and renovated since pre-Inca times, the population lives in a traditional way, where the work is collective, each villager works one day for them and others for the community, making this island self-sustaining. Return to the hotel in Puno.

DAY 11: JULIACA -– LIMA.

This day, after breakfast we will embark towards the city of Juliaca where the local airport is located where we will board the plane to Lima, once in Lima our transport will take you to your Hotel.

DAY 12: LIMA – AIRPORT.

Finally, very early in the morning, we will provide you with the transportation service to the airport where you will board your flight back home.
